Position available: Design Engineer

Duties and responsibilities:
Design and characterization of radio frequency integrated circuits for various applications. Duties will also include coordinating and scheduling the design in conjunction with other team members as well as bench testing and characterization of RF circuits and systems. You will be expected to interact with customers during design reviews and project meetings.

Qualifications Required
· Minimum of 3+ years of RFIC design experience in the 1 GHZ and 5GHz frequency bands. 5+ years preferred
· Must have Analog/Mixed-Signal IC design expertise
· Minimum of Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with RFIC design specialization or equivalent required, MSEE preferred
· Multi-tasking capability and independent execution of assigned tasks using excellent time management skills
· Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential
· Motivated and dedicated with the ability to work in fast paced, highly dynamic environment

Applicants should be familiar with all of the following types of design, preferably having designed circuits for production in BiCMOS, SiGe and/or CMOS technologies.
· Low Noise Amplifiers
· Mixers
· VCOs
· Frequency Synthesizers
· Power Amplifiers
· Continuous Time Filters
· Low frequency analog

Design experience in the following areas is directly applicable:
· Super heterodyne radio transceivers
· Direct conversion radio transceivers
· Low-IF radio transceivers
· GSM (TDMA) product development
· CDMA product development
· WiFi/ Wlan product development
· Bluetooth product development
· RFID product development
· Wireless subscriber products
· ATE Pin Electronics
· Clock and Data recovery circuits

Experience working with the following CAD tools is highly desirable:
· Spectre/ SpectreRF SPICE simulators
· Cadence design framework
· Matlab · MathCad
· SPW /ADS system simulation tools
· Virtuoso Layout Editor
· DIVA / Assura / Calibre Verification tools
