Obsolete IC Second Sourcing When an existing IC product becomes hard to procure or become obsolete, very few options are easily available in today’s merchant IC market. Fortunately, Tahoe RF’s extensive portfolio of silicon proven IP blocks provides a simple solution. These blocks can be modified or configured to meet the existing IC product performance and Tahoe RF will endeavor to meet the same footprint and function. Almost all prior generation RF and Analog ICs are ideal candidates for conversion by Tahoe RF. Furthermore, if necessary, additional or improved functionality can be easily incorporated during the redesign phase. With our pre-existing relationships with IC foundries, Tahoe RF will be able to support low volume requirements on a cost effective basis. Additional qualifications specifically targeting Military, Space or Automotive markets can also be supported.
